About Your New GO-TO Mechanic

Who is “D” of D’s Mobile Auto Works LLC?
Why should you allow this guy that calls himself “D” to work on your vehicle?
A quick run down of my experience and training, I am 38 years old and initially began my Automotive journey by attending the Toyota T-TEN training program (Trade School) in 2007 at Citrus College in Glendora, CA. Due to economic conditions/hardship I was unable to finish my training there even after a stellar performance. Despite this setback I stayed persistent and found another option to complete my training.. fast forward to 2009 and I managed to graduate from the Automotive Trade program at the Red Rock Job Corps Center in Lopez, PA.
From this point forward I was in the trade officially in my eyes. My first 2-year stint as a technician/mechanic was with a local independent repair shop in Shavertown, PA. Here I experienced the north east salt/rust and became extremely familiar with the oxyacetylene torch. During this time I also acquired my PA State Inspector’s License, PA State Emissions License, and my first A.S.E. Certification which was brakes.
My time in PA ended when my daughter was on her way and I moved back to California for a couple years. Luckily, I landed a job with Galpin Ford as a used car reconditioning technician. I learned a ton there and picked up some Ford certs and more A.S.E. certifications.
A couple of years later I happened to apply to a major company with great pay and benefits looking for experienced techs out of Oklahoma City. I applied and to my surprise I got the call. Next thing you know I was shipping my tool box through freight and jumping on a plane with my new wife and still small daughter. I worked as a fleet mechanic there for 5 years and while working there my son was born. The time spent at that company greatly increased my knowledge and experience on GM 5.3l, 6.0l, gas/CNG engines, Ford 7.3l, 6.0l diesels, Mercedes MB904 diesels, and Cummins 5.9l diesel/CNG engines. In 2018 I finally passed A.S.E. Tests A1-A8 and reached Master Automotive Technician Status.
I did a short stint as a Mechanic Contractor for Mercedes at their Manufacturing plant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (2019) doing mainly electrical on new vehicles off the assembly line that had issues. I worked as a shop Lead Technician for a local independent shop here in OKC for a couple years and also as a forklift fleet mechanic here in OKC.
That about sums it up, and hopefully that is enough information on my background to consider when choosing me as the mechanic to repair/maintain your vehicle.
